On October 4, 2025, Hon. Chief Ogunleye Abayomi, the Maiyegun of Ijowa Isanlu, fulfilled his yearly scholarship award to the best students in JSS1 to SSS3 at Isanlu High School, Ijowa Isanlu. 

While presenting the scholarships, Hon. Chief Ogunleye Abayomi expressed his commitment to the development of Isanlu and its people. He emphasized that recognizing and rewarding academic excellence inspires students to strive for greatness and pursue their educational goals. By doing so, he aims to empower the next generation of leaders in the community.

Hon. Chief Ogunleye Abayomi also promised to continue the scholarship every year, highlighting the importance of education in shaping the future of individuals and communities. He noted that "education is the best legacy we can give to children," underscoring his vision for the future of Isanlu's youth.

The Kogi State National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) extended warm congratulations to Controller General Samuel Adeyemi Olumode on his new appointment as the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service. Newly elected executives of the NYCN Kogi State Chapter Holds First Meeting Ahead of Inauguration.

The newly elected executives of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Kogi State chapter recently convened their first meeting in preparation for their inauguration.

During the meeting, Chairman Comrade Abdulraman Enesi emphasized the importance of inclusivity within the council and spelled out His eight (8) developmental agenda's. He assured that the leadership would work tirelessly to ensure that all members, regardless of their background or affiliation, are given equal opportunities to contribute to the council's growth and development.

The meeting is  to prepare the executives for their commitment to work together towards a common goal. 

The newly elected executives assured Kogi State Youths both home and diaspora of their readiness to Kogi State Youths interest and development.
