NYCN: HON. IDRIS RECEIVES GROUP'S PETITION, MAINTAINS GOVERNMENT STAND

Kogi state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Idris Musa (Danjuma Oando) earlier today welcomed petition from members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Kogi Chapter

The group under the aegis of 'Critical Stakeholders, NYCN, Kogi Chapter', said their petition was not unconnected with the persistent irregularities in activities by the outgoing state Chairman, Comrade Israel Alonge

The stakeholders in their petition tagged "Kogi State Chapter Critical Stakeholders NYCN distance selves from the purported illegalities/congress l

ed by Comrade Alonge",  described the activities of the outgoing state Chairman in conducting Local government congresses at the Lokoja youth house by "Unconstitutional Central Congress Planning Committee, (CCPC)" as against the respective council Areas as illegal.

The critical stakeholders across the three(3) senatorial districts further frowned and distance selves from the "subvention of the various local government into the state NYCN account with illegal suppression and intimidation of the local government chapters and the boasting of tenure elongation" by the Alonge led executives, stressing that "his tenure expires by May 2021, and no provision for tenure elongation in the NYCN Constitution.

The group also recognized "the Comrade Sunday Paul led executive as the legal and constitutional NYCN, Yagba East Chapter executives and advised "the excos inaugurated in the youth house in Lokoja to desist from parading themselves as excos".

The group in their letter further stated that all payments from the local government to one Comrade Haroun Opotu on behalf of NYCN via a Keystone bank account, 6026947756 be refunded amongst others

The Commissioner acknowledged the matured way used by the stakeholders in expressing their stand rather than resolve to internal crisis. He however asked the aggrieved party to sheath their sword stressing that his office will put all needed machineries in motion on a fact finding mission to ensure the tenets of the youthful organization is not compromised in the state

" The ministry of Youth and Sports as the overseeing body of the voluntary youth body in the state will not relent in her efforts to making sure the stand of the constitution is upheld and maintained, especially on all critical issues of administration and policies". He said

Hon. Asiwaju Asiru Idris is a successful banker and a great product of Ahamadu Bello University, Zaria and a complete gentleman.

Before you can be addressed as a leader, you must be a humanist and being a humanist you must be able to identify the problem of your followers and preferred solution to their problems. When it comes to that, Mukadam is second to none.

He has contributed and touch so many peoples life positively through scholarship to the downtrodden students, youth empowerment, women empowerment and less privilege, also in health sector he has performed excellently.

The people of Kogi west, Okunland, Yagba land in fact Kogi state at large can attest to the fact that his benevolence is beyond party, tribe and religion.

Mukadam as a silent leader and achiever will not ask any of his follower to do a task that himself haven’t done, he set the examples for his followers to follow, he never see himself higher than anyone around him, he do not micromanage or nag anyone.

He always demonstrate confidence in his followers by trusting them to complete the work that has been assigned to them.

He is also a symbol of humility, in time of making decision he will allow everyone to make their own contribution not minding their status or age.

Leadership has always been More challenging in Kogi state during difficult time but all thanks to God for giving us someone like Mukadam who has been there for youths, students, market women,farmers, young and aged one’s in, Yagba land, Okun land, kogi west and kogi state at large.

Lastly, I must say that Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris is a great asset to the new direction administration.

I salute your competency and swear my allegiance to support your visions and be committed to your missions.

I pray that Almighty God will continue to bless you  and give you the resources and grace to continue your benevolence and service to humanity.

The Obaro of kabba paid a Royal visit to the palace of Ejuku traditional Councils. In his Goodwill message, he appreciates Elejuku of Ejuku Oba Lamidi Folorunsho Ayeni, For his love to Okun land and which  he described the Elejuku as a good man right from the onset. He further described Elejuku of Ejuku Oba Lamidi Folorunsho  Ayeni as an epitome of a king.

He finally thanks him and His chiefs for their warm receiption and Honour given to him with a two gun salute. Asiwaju lead the delegation of other chief's to receive the august visitor. 

He spends time in Elejuku of Ejuku palace with his Entourages. 

In attendances are :

It is with a heart of gratitude that I write as the newly elected and inaugurated coordinator of National Youth Council of Nigeria,NYCN, Yagba East Local Government, to on behalf of my team of executives appreciate God almighty and the people whom he has used as instruments to make the exercise which took place on the 13th of April, 2021 at the Local Government Secretariat, a fruitful one.

The role leadership is only but a call to serve, hence, it is a necessity for myself and my executives to ensure that we live up to the expectations of the mandates we have been given to be in charge of the affairs of Youths in Yagba East Local Government Area under the platform for NYCN. 

Seeing the Calibre of Local Government officials and Executives of the All Progressive Congress, Yagba East Chapter who came around to witness the exercise from the beginning to the end, leaves us in the debt of gratitude. 

On behalf of my executives, I want to in a particular way, thank the Honorable Commissioner for Finance, Budgets and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiru Asiwaju Idris, The Yagba East Local Government Chairman, Hon. Asiru Ijagbemi Abdulrazaq and the 10 Wards Councilors who were all in attendance, The APC Yagba Local Government Chairman and other party men who came around, The Secretary of Yagba East Local Government, Stakeholders of NYCN Yagba East who were present; Revd. Moses, Comr. Banji Aiyelabowo and Comr. Sikiru, family and friends including well-wishers who showed us massive and unpayable love, may God continue to bless you all in abundance. Our gratitude knows no Limitations. We will on our end, ensure to live up to the mandate given to us as a team. 

Again, it is no longer news that the Nigerian Youths across the country are calling on Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to pick up the task of championing of course for us to by showing interest to become the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is task on every Youth group to rally round the young and energetic Governor to achieving this task. Therefore, from the end of NYCN Yagba East Local Government Area, we are going to reach out to all nooks and crannies in ensuring that our campaign supercede that of any one who's older than the choice of Yahaya Bello whom we are bringing to the position come 2023. Our loyalty to the GYB 2 PYB is undying even as our loyalty is 100%.

In his speech at the occasion the representative of the Executive Chairman,Hon Dare Joshua welcome the delegates and guests in attendance and wish them a successful conduct.

He assured the new government of his readiness to cooperate with them.

Frontline youth activist and stakeholder ,who also doubled as electoral officer, Comrade Aiyelabaowo trace the history of.the union and described the very beginning as a glorious past ,and therefore pleaded with the emerging new leadership to surpass the recorded legacies of their predecessors .

The deputy registrar of kogi state polytechnic ,Dr Moses Ayorinde ,was among guests that presented good will messages to the new exco's.

Comrade Aiyelabaowo later presented the new exco's to the authorities of Yagba East LGA having been administered with their oaths of office by state counsel,J.J. lfepariola.

Among dignitaries in attendance were SLG,Hon Dare Joshua,the chief of staff,Hon Bunmi Babalola, supervisors , councillors and other stakeholders.

In his closing remarks,the chief of staff prayed and advised the new exco's to cooperate with the government.

In his message of good will to Muslim communities in Yagba East,the Executive Chairman of Yagba East LGA,Alhaji Asiru Abdulrazaq ljagbemi thanked God for sparing the lives of the people to be partakers of the event this year.

He therefore admonished them to worship Allah in spirit by emulating the good works of Holy prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) to enable them inherit AJANA ,which is the ultimate destination of every umah .

He therefore prayed to God to give them the strength to accomplish this religious injunction in good health .

Inline with the ongoing party (APC) registration, Hon. Asiru Abdulrasaq Ijagbemi received PDP decampees into APC while he assured the decampees of all party benefits.

Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris FCA, the Commissioner of finance, Budget and Economic planning welcome all the decampees to the party and urged them to work hard in making sure the party progress and move forward for the betterment of the nation, kogi State and Yagba East LGA.

The Commissioner implored the decampees to be faithful and good ambassador of the party All progressive Congress (APC). He also plead to all members of the party both old and new to ourselves as one family.

The Commissioner of finance Budget and Economic planning, also briefed the party about the ongoing project of His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello's ultra-modern clinical complex that's going to be delivered to Isanlu and  Yagba East LGA.

One of the decampees, Mrs. Titus foluwake, former PDP women leader assured the party of her total supports to the party, while she assured that she will deliver her polling unit and Ward for all progressive Congress, in the next general election.

Mr. Femi Aro, one of the decampees which happens to be former PDP Ward 06 chairman assured his total supports the party and he promised to bring More of his former party (PDP) to all progressive Congress APC soonest.

The party also received into the party officially  Hon. Bamidele Onile from Ward 07 Isanlu Yagba East LGA, Hon. Bamidele Onile is a one time kogi west senatorial candidate under the platform of  independent Democrats (ID).

From Ward 09 Yagba East LGA, we also received into the party Mr Silas Sunday a.k.a Polar, former PDP Secretary, Ward 09.

Mr Silas David Sunday assured that as from now henceforth he will be working on how to deliver his polling unit to all progressive Congress APC.

"Jesus Christ's death on the cross of Calvary and the resurrection the third day for the  atonement of sins of mankind is the greatest demonstration of love and sacrifices in man's history". This statement was contained in an Easter message by Hon Moses Sunday David, Chairman Mopamuro LGA to Mopamuro Christians celebrating Easter.

Hon Moses Sunday David enjoins christians to follow Christ example by following his ways and commandments to love one another irrespective of tongues, tribes and religion  as Christ came and died so all who believes may be save.

"Love and sacrifices in the spirit of understanding will help Nigeria overcome most of the societal problems currently confronting the nation today, the lesson of the season must not be lost to merriments alone". Hon Alumon said.

While commending Mopamuro Christians for living in peace with people of other faiths, he prayed for many more years of this kind of celebrations in the land of the living.

The Executive Chairman of Mopamuro LGA Council, Hon Moses Sunday David has commended Hon Kingsley Femi Fanwo (KFF), Commissioner For Information and Communication for building, furnishing and  equiping a standard Health Centre  in Takete Ide in Mopamuro.

The beautiful edifice which was commissioned yesterday by the Chief Of Staff to His Excellency Yahaya Bello  was a well thought out initiative of FFK to serve the yearnings of the people of Takete-Ide and other adjoining towns for a classic medical facility that has been elusive for years before now.

"Hon Fanwo has demonstrated yet again that he is in love with his people and humanity at large." May God continue to reward him as the entire Mopamuro is very proud of this our illustrious Son."

The GYB Primary Health Centre is an ultra modern health facility built to accommodate at least six patients per time with ultra modern Life saving equipments including Oxygen all financed from the private pocket of Hon Kingsley Femi Fanwo through his foundation, KFF FOUNDATION.

It is worthy of mentioning that the KFF FOUNDATION has been providing humanitarian and philanthropic services to people especially in Yagba land. Through the KFF Foundation, over thirty communities has benefitted from digging or repairs of borehole and reticulation to provide portable water.

The KFF Foundation is currently training Mopamuro youths on ICT , has empowered many youths and women with sewing machines, grinding machines, deep freezers, capitals and grants to allow many starts their businesses.

Indeed, KFF is touching lives positively.
