The Araromi gbede Traditional council, has conferred a chieftaincy title of “Afiwajoye” on the flag bearer of APC Yagba East state House of Assembly, Chief Emmanuel Obaro.
Araromi traditional council announced the conferment of the new traditional title on the candidate of APC Yagba East state House of Assembly on Saturday in Araromi gbede during the annual day anniversary.
The Araromi gbede development association said that the council decided to confer the title on Afiwajoye following his contributions and track record for the development of his people, Araromi gbede community and Okun at large.
In his remarks, Chief Emmanuel Obaro, thanked the entire Araromi gbede community for the honour given to him and assured that he would continue to work for the development of Okun land and Kogi state.
“I am expressing my profound appreciation to the Araromi community in Kogi state for the traditional title bestowed on me, the Afiwajoye. I thank you all from the depth of my heart for this honour,” he said.
