*RE: APC Lacks Locus Standi To Challenge Abejide’s Performance*
In response to the ill-conceived article aimed at salvaging the camatose image of the outgoing house of representatives member representing the good people of Yagba Federal Constituency, the APC Yagba Federal constituency campaign Council has said that Elder Leke abejide is suffering from acute " Pre- electoral loss" syndrome.
The campaign council noted that the inability the outgoing reps member to comprehend the fact that even all what he has been peddling as his achievements are all dividends of democracy under the APC led central government. Elder Leke Abejide has forgotten that all what he has been distributing in the name of personal gifts were proceeds of budgetary provisions of the APC led Federal Government.
In a message released to the media, the APC campaign council listed few of the achievements of the APC led administration in the state amongst which are the multi-billion naira Confluence Rice Mill in Ejiba, Yagba west LGA, the distribution of tractors to the 3 Local governments in the first and second tenure of the Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello led administration to assist farmers in the various LGAs in the areas of mechanized farming. The government has also provided funds towards the realization of SDGs at the state level through the community and social development agency in Kogi State. This initiatives have yielded town-halls, roads, basic primary health centres and boreholes across Yagba Federal Constituency. The magnificent GYB ultramodern hospital complex in isanlu, Yagba East LGA is also achieving a 80% completion stage while all equipments required to furnish same is already stationed at a central store in the state capital. The council also listed the various primary schools in Yagba Federal Constituency that recieved attention through the state counterpart funded SUBEB intervention funds that catered for the massive renovation of schools.
Furthermore, the campaign council noted that all the various covid- 19 SMEs post recovery funds that the reps member facilitated for it's party members were courtesy of the APC led administration at the federal level.
Topmost amongst the APC signatures in Yagba Federal onstituency are the recently awarded Oke Oyi road handed over to the Federal Government by the State Government which was budgetarily funded and awarded to a company owned by Elder Leke Abejide. The mentioned road is being patched with low quality materials below the budgeted allocations which from report runs into billions of Naira.
The campaign council finally advised the outgoing reps member to imbibe the spirit of humility in failure and hide his head in shame as he prepares for the electoral defeat ahead.
