Ola Emmanuel Adekunle, the Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Governor on Grassroots Mobilization, has joined political leaders, stakeholders, and well-wishers in celebrating the 60th birthday of the former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole. The landmark celebration reflects not only the former Speaker’s longevity but also his enduring influence in the political landscape of Kogi State. Hon. Adekunle described the celebrant as a man of honor, integrity, and wisdom whose contributions to state development and legislative progress remain exemplary.

Samuel Adeniyi Atteh OMÌNÌRA DÉ commends Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA for securing a landmark agreement with the People's Republic of China, paving way for Kogi Hunan Special Economic Zone to take off as a Free Trade Zone. This significant development is expected to bolster economic ties between Nigeria and China, with the Kogi State government committed to providing necessary infrastructure and regulatory frameworks for the project's success.

The Kogi Hunan Free Trade Zone, situated on 3,000 hectares of land in Ajaokuta economic development corridor, aims to become a major industrial and trade hub, further strengthening Nigeria's economic integration with global markets. Governor Ododo's efforts have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition, and his administration's commitment to making the Kogi Hunan Special Economic Zone a model of industrial and economic transformation commendable.
