Engr.Folorunsho Olafemi has congratulated  former Acting Governor of Kogi State, Rt.Hon Clarence Olafemi as he marks his birthday today.

He described him as a grassroots politician and a lover of kogi and its people.

In a statement by his media aide, Folorunsho  saluted his father for his sacrifices and for believing in the current government’s ability and capacity to change the fortunes of the State positively.

Folorunsho Olafemi further said the former Acting Governor investment in promoting democracy and good governance through sharing of wisdom and experience with political associates, would always be appreciated and remembered.

On behalf of my family and my team supporters  I congratulate our highly respected Asiwaju of Okun Land,Chief Clarence Olafemi on the occasion of his birthday.

“His life is worthy of emulation. He has been a pathfinder, leader and mentor and father – figure to many of us. As a man who governed his state in acting capacity , his impact in kogi state still remain indelible.

He has made great leadership sacrifices borne out of his selfless spirit to serve the people. It is my prayer that the good Lord will grant him more years in good health so that we can continue to tap from his wealth of experience,” Folorunsho Olafemi said.

When Politics is played with inclusiveness and sincere reconciliation it is bound to yield victory and dividends to party members and generality of the people.     

Engr Folorunsho Olafemi, Yagba federal constituency candidate having won the APC  constituency ticket continues to demonstrate maturity, magnanimity and benevolence in the manner he has conducted himself, his strategy of reconciliation is not only improving the chances of APC in winning the federal Constituency seat, it is also enhancing the image of the party before the general public.

Engr Folorunsho Olafemi within months of being declared winner of APC House of representatives candidate  along with his entourage visited all those who contested with him in the primaries and solicited for their support, he continued to undertake thank you visits to various interest groups, community groups and notable individuals across the Constituency, he also  visited certain individuals  who publicly worked against his constituency ambition in the state. 

Engr Folorunsho Olafemi PhD appears to be leading the party to a new era of inclusiveness, tolerance,  decency and magnanimity that the party currently yearns for. The era of winners takes  it all and others within the party can go to hell is beginning to fade away because his strategy of reconciliation is beginning to instill confidence in the members of APC across Yagba federal Constituency and the state in general. 

Engr Foley popularity rating is reaching an unprecedented height as a result of his positive approach to politics. It is worthy of note that age may not necessarily guarantee maturity, despite his youthful age, he has surpassed his contemporaries within the party and beyond in the ways and manner he has conducted himself, particularly after the primary election. He has been magnanimous and gracious in victory, his strategy has obviously shown his true character. 

He has demonstrated that if elected as a House of Representative member representing Yagba federal constituency he would treat all fairly, promote equal opportunities for all, he will not discriminate on the basis of party affiliation, tribes, religion or ideological differences.                                Engr Folorunsho represents a new face of our contemporary politics. The Executive Chairman Yagba East Local Government in his sallah message, calls on the Muslim Ummah in Yagba East and Kogi state to reflect on the good virtues of personal sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, in Eld-El-Kabir Sallah celebration.

The council Boss reminded everyone on the need to remain each other’s keeper as the anchor for peaceful co-existence and for a better tomorrow.

Hon. Asiru Abdulrasaq Ijagbemi said Eid-El-Kabir is a time for forgiveness, sober reflection and sacrifice which should also be dedicated to prayers for love and peace to thrive throughout the nation.

“EID-EL-KABIR is a time to usher in spirituality, peace, dedication, honesty, as we match towards a common destiny” Hon. Abdulrasaq said.

The council Boss prayed for God to spare the lives of citizens to witness more returns of the blessed day.

He also wished all pilgrims in the Holy Land a successful exercise and thereafter journey mercies on return.
