Appointment: Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA appreciates His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, salute GYB sterling leadership.
The former commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, who doubles as a commissioner designate, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has expressed heart of gratitude to the newest Governor in Nigeria, His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for counting him worthy to be appointed as a commissioner designate under his nascent administration, saying it's a privilege to serve kogites once again.
In his words, " I am sincerely grateful to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the opportunity to render genuine service to kogites once again. It's indeed a huge privilege to be so appointed out of many who are qualified and seeked to serve, but I am quite optimistic that the love, trust, and confidence reposed in me will be excellently justified. I am ready and poised to surpass the milestones achieved in the last office I occupied."
"There is no doubt that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo will deliver excellently to meet the yearnings of kogites hinged on his cognate public service experience, tested capacity to deliver and most especially, a solid foundation upon which he can consolidate and continue is already on ground. Kogi state is set to witness a paradigm shift under the new administration."
Asiwaju also appreciates the outgone governor for giving him the opportunity to cut his teeth in public service and learn the art of good governance under his eight(8) years of purposeful leadership in the confluence state. He's undoubtedly the architect of modern kogi state when his arrays of sterling records of sustainable development are juxtaposed to the past before his emergence. He stated
"GYB might have stepped aside as the governor, dictated by the groundnorm of the land, but his giant strides will remain indelible in the annals of the state, and I am ceaselessly grateful for all I have achieved and learnt under his leadership. These experiences and teaching we will carry on in the building process of a better and greater Kogi state as envisaged by him and other fathers of the state."
He said a good testament of continuity and consolidation in the state is well espoused in the 32-year development plan launched recently , which created a framework to harness the potentials of the state for the core objective of planning and building an enduring Kogi state.
"I call on kogites to support and cooperate with the new administration, as we collectively match forward with the consolidation drive of delivering good governance without leaving anyone behind."
