The former commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, who doubles as a commissioner designate, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has expressed heart of gratitude  to the newest Governor in Nigeria, His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for counting him worthy to be appointed as a commissioner designate under his nascent administration, saying it's a privilege to serve kogites once again.

In his congratulatory message, released through his media assistant, Mukadam Asiwaju described the appointment of the caretaker chairmen as deserving and apposite, owing to their unwavering dedication to the progress of our party, staunch support and loyalty to the progressive ideology under the leadership of His Excellency,Governor Yahaya Bello,CON 

In his words, " You have all earned the trust and confidence of His Excellency and party stakeholders based on your loyalty and commitment to party progress,  therefore,  you must all roll up your sleeves to deliver good governance that answers to the yearnings of our people at the grassroot. You are all our eyes at the local. Hence, you can not afford to sway from the path of progressive ideologies that gives hope to the hopeless."

The body of the students' union in Isanlu Kingdom, Yagba East; ISU rejoices with Hon. Dr Dare Joshua Monday aka Venza, on his assumption to the political office as the Caretaker Chairman of the Local Government, Yagba East, Western Kogi State.

Hon. Venza who is one of  the dogged political leaders in Yagba East, served as the Secretary General to the Former Executive Chairman of Yagba East LGA, Hon. Asiru Abdulrasaq Ijagbemi. He has been a very active member of the All Progressive Congress, APC, who worked diligently under the chairmanship of his boss Hon. Rasaq, and has being a good representative to the people of the Local Government and a massive contributor to the development of communities within the area.

His continuous stride to success also led to his earlier political appointment during the previous Kogi State General Election; as the Campaign Director General for Yagba East LG to Kogi State APC Governor Elect; His Excellency, Hon. Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo. 

Hon. Venza has demonstrated capacities in the political spheres across the Local Government Area in the Western District of Kogi State, which steered to the accumulated success of the party's candidate.

Comrade Omoniyi Emmanuella Omolara emerges as the First Female President of National Association of Okun Students (NAOS NATIONAL).

After a well attended Convention of National Association of Okun Students (NAOS NATIONAL) Comrade Omoniyi Emmanuella Omolara was duly elected as the President of the Association with 54 Votes while his opponent got 6 Votes .

The Electoral committee Chairman officially declared Comrade Omoniyi Emmanuella Omolara as the Elected President of NAOS National.
