The Executive Chairman of Yagba East LGA. Hon. Asiru Abdulrasaq Ijagbemi has commended Governor Yahaya Bello and Kogi state government for prioritizing the health needs of people in rural areas.
The council boss Expressed that the healthcare initiative will relieve the vulnerable in the society.
This is a great gesture from the present administration, and we will like to appeal to those who are present today to get the information across to those who are not here today to make use of this rare opportunity for proper diagnosis and treatment.
For the records, this initiative is proudly sponsored by the state government and totally free, and we are not expecting anybody to be charged for it. Please, do well to inform those who couldn’t register their presence today not to give a dime to anyone as regards to this free healthcare as the state government has taken care of that,” he said.
The Executive Chairman of Yagba East LGA, urged residents to conduct themselves in peaceful and orderly manner, appealing that they allow elders and nursing mothers be attended to first before considering the younger ones amongst them.
