Hon. Yahaya Adesayo Ismail  screened, confirmed, and inaugurated as a commissioner in the state Executive Council. 

Today was another momentous day in the political annals of Hon. Yahaya Ade Ismail, as he was adequately screened by Kogi State House of Assembly in line with constitutional dictate and subsequently inaugurated as commissioner for special duties in the state Executive Council.

When he appeared before the Honourable members of the state assembly, Hon Yahaya Ade Ismail spoke glowingly to his curriculum vitae, narrating his academic journey to his work experience in both private and public institutions,  before his foray into the political world, where he has served in self denial and meritoriously as expected of every public office holders.

In his words, " All my life I have lived a life of self-denial occasioned by my innate affinity to give back to humanity and engender development anywhere I find myself. From my higher institutions days and outside the four walls, my essential pursuit has been that of fighting for human rights and how we can make the world a better place. "

"Have always been a progressive all my life, starting as a member of Alliance for Democracy(AD), to Action Congress(AC) to when it became Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) till when the merger with other parties was consummated 2014 to become the All Progressive Congress(APC) of today. I was the pioneer APC state treasurer of the party and former special adviser on water resources to His Excellency, Governor Yahaya bello, before I was graciously nominated again as a commissioner by His Excellency".

" All my public service sojourn was marked with an ideology of selfless service, spirit of excellence, and adherent to rules of engagement. Therefore, Honourable members, you can be very sure of my cooperation and sublime working relationship with this respected hallow chamber"

Before confirmation,  all Honourable members who stood to contribute to his screening process spoke beautifully about Hon. Yahaya Ade Ismail, as a perfect gentleman with strength of character, a bridge builder, peaceful disposition, cognate experience, politically inclined, and a detrablized Kogite of note. Aftermath, they all chorus the popular legislative language of "bow and go" because they found no reason to question a man who had shown excellence in service.

After the screening success at the House of Assembly,  he proceeded straight to the executive chamber of the Government House for inauguration- oath of secrecy and office, which was witnessed by his Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello.

Today, Hon. Adesayo Ismail is a confirmed Honourable commissioner in the state cabinet, and he will be in charge of the special duties ministry.
